You can also read millions of other qualities of accountant from the google search. But what you did not find is my personal experience. If you are big businessman, you must not give any rank of his friendship and relationship. There may be the big chance that you will get the candidate of accountant from your friendship and relationship but if you or expert team has taken the test for checking above qualities and ranking the preference, there should not give any number to the relationship or friendship of candidate. This will decrease the quality of accountant which you will choose. On this point, I can give my practical example.
Many years ago, I was also a capable and high potential candidate for the post of accountant. One day, I went to a private company. This accountant needs a confident and independent accountant who can handle the company. They took my interview. I had satisfied them that I am best out of other candidates for same post of accountant. They gave me oral promise for my appointment. Salary was Rs. 6000 which was big amount for me as fresh accountant in this big company. But, he had to give me confirmation by next morning 10 :00 a.m. through mobile phone. That whole night, I was thinking my first salary of Rs. 6000 which I had to get by providing my services. Next day, I was ready to listen his confirmation. But I did not get the confirmation. Now, I spent my 7 days. In the 8th day, I got the call from same company. Owner of company was saying me to come and join the company. But, my question was "Why?" Why did you spent 7 days for giving me the confirmation. He told me that he appointed any other accountant who was in his relation circle. He is less capable than me. But due to pressure of his relative, he appointed him. But when he joined, at the 4th day, he did a big mistake. He paid Rs. 7,00,000 to a party to whom we have to pay just Rs. 7,000. He bought both high and low quality products. We have to pay bills. We have to pay Rs. 7000 to a party and also have to pay Rs. 7,00,000 to b party. Now, by mistake, passed the entry of making a party as b party and b party as a party. Now, cash of Rs. 7,00,000 went to a party who was 420. Now, a party is underground ( 9 , 2 , 11). This was big mistake. Because he was our relative, we only suspended him. So, he requested me to join the company. He also offered me to take Rs. 15,000 as salary. But, I say no. Now, I need not to work. Why did I say no?
* Trust increases the trust :
Owner and accountant has big relationship. It is not blood but they faith each other on the matter of money. When owner checks that anybody has the big potential. He should faith on him and give first chance to him. It is sure accountant will also not break his trust.
Instead of appointing me or other capable accountant, he makes the relationship to a person who is not capable. So, he broke the trust of relationship with me and all other candidates who came in that appointment.
